what do I want here and now?

April 13, 2012

Good Morning and Happy Friday!

Today’s reminder is about visualizing. I think that it is more common to use visualization when we are thinking about the big picture – long term goals – what is beyond our present circumstances. What I am asking you to consider today, this week is to exercise a version of everyday, every situation visualization; to make visualizing a habit.

For example:

· g etting in the car on your way to work: What do you visualize? A calm ride; a time to have some quiet; a time to enjoy the view; a time to be alone; a time to experience alertness, presence as you drive; a safe journey.

· Working on a task: What do you visualize? A flow of ideas; the energy of using your gifts; new insights as you consider/work things through; the feeling of accomplishment as you make progress, learn something.

· Time with someone you are close to: What do you visualize? Connecting, acknowledging this person; appreciation of this person; gratitude for the bond you have; laughter; enjoyment of just being present with this person.

This week join me as I pay attention to visualizing small parts of the day. It can give us greater clarity about what we are wanting. It can also allow us to experience the power of visualizing as we ask; “What do I really see happening here? What do I want? What do I believe is possible? What am I asking for?”

Picturing you right now taking this in – going hmmmmmm,

Judy

And, if something you want is greater clarity and support on this journey – I can help with that.
