Do you follow through?

April 20, 2012

Good Morning and Happy Friday!

What does it take to move toward what you want? Sometimes we take very deliberate, well thought out steps; sometimes we ponder for a long time before taking action; sometimes we take that leap of faith not knowing where we will land; sometimes we are in such discomfort that taking any action seems preferable to where we are.

It’s fun to experience the openness of dreaming – the expansiveness – the limitless possibilities. It’s also worthwhile to take the energy of the daydream and use that energy to move ahead with action; action to experience that desire; to move toward having more of that. Taking action means there is commitment. There is an intention to have that something (the job, the house, the car, the healthy body...) and that experience (joy, freedom, love) backed up by spending time, energy, and resources to have that something. That is putting your action where your dream is.

 Keep moving with the flow,
 Judy

How are you doing with follow through? Do you have great ideas, lots of enthusiasm, surety, know what you want, have the means to do it – and still find that things tend to stall out, never quite get accomplished; that the follow through doesn’t happen? Do you notice there are some certain areas of your life where this tends to happen? Maybe you are very reliable and can be counted on in some ways and yet find that other aspects seem to come up short time and time again.

If this sounds familiar to you, you are not alone. I can relate, and in talking with others, understand that it happens a lot. And, just because there is a lot of this going around doesn’t mean it is a desirable pattern, one to continue. Who wants to feel the dissatisfaction of not moving forward, not achieving a desired goal?

Must we continue to repeat unsatisfactory patterns? I have a new tool designed to offer greater awareness for just this very thing. It is called HAAPPi® Planning with Insight. I am going to be trying it out  over the next few weeks. Join me with this introductory offer that includes a workbook and support calls for only $7.99. (A savings of $32.00).
