Good Morning,
This morning I’d like to share with you some words I read that are worth sitting with:
God’s will for me is perfect happiness.[1]
How great that those words were waiting for me when I had been thinking that the message today was to be something about joyfulness, allowing happiness.
My suggestion today is to take in these words. Notice what surfaces….the yes buts, the fears, the doubts. What takes away joyfulness? Worry? Judgment? Comparison?
One of the many advantages of aging is that we get more experienced in trusting ourselves, in recognizing what is really important and in deciding where to put our attention. This week pay attention to your happiness. Expect to feel happy, notice when you aren’t and shift something… a thought… a perspective… stand up or sit down… make a face…sing a song… let go… Make room for joy.
