Even though retirement for me is a few years in the future,this summer is providing a practice run. summer is providing an opportunity to notice (and share) what is different about not working at a job-job; and, hopefully gain insights to be better prepared for the future....though we never know for sure.
First week....Such permission! No alarm, reminding myself that there is plenty of tiime; what doesn't get accomplished today can be carried over til tomorrow. Feels luxurious. Not exactly vacation, but unstructured, more open ended. Will it stay that way?
Along the way I also want to share here tidbits, resources, etc. related to moving into a next stage. Today I found this article about concerns of baby boomers. What do you think it is?
